Tyvek® Protec™ is a portfolio of engineered synthetic roofing underlayments designed for strong on-roof traction,
durable deck protection, and clean layout work. Each option uses a four-layer build with an embossed top surface
for grip, a water-resistant lamination layer, a woven polypropylene scrim for strength, and a slip-resistant coating
for grip to the roof deck.

Tyvek® Protec™ 120

Protec™ 120 is an engineered synthetic roofing underlayment built for dependable traction and deck protection on
repair, re-roofing, and new construction projects. The embossed surface improves grip while helping move dirt and
water through surface grooves for safer footing.

• Compatible roof types: asphalt shingles, cedar shingles, metal
• Tile and slate: use Protec™ 160 or Protec™ 200
• Format: 10-square roll (48" x 250′)

Tyvek® Protec™ 160

Protec™ 160 is the “workhorse upgrade” in the lineup, offering heavier weight and a longer UV exposure window.
Ideal when you want extra durability without going all the way to the top tier.

• Compatible roof types: asphalt shingles, cedar shingles, metal, tile, slate
• Format: 10-square roll (48" x 250′)
• Longer field window: up to 6 months UV exposure

Tyvek® Protec™ 200

Protec™ 200 is the premium, heavier underlayment option for demanding installs where maximum durability,
longer-term performance, and jobsite toughness matter most.

• Compatible roof types: asphalt shingles, cedar shingles, metal, tile, slate
• Format: 10-square roll (48" x 250′)
• Heavier build: 36 lb roll weight for added robustness
